Recently Bangladeshi officials and local media have pointed fingers at the Indian authorities. They blamed that the opening of the dam for the severe flooding that has stranded millions and caused widespread devastation in several areas bordering Tripura State.
However, the Indian government has already denied allegations that it was responsible for devastating floods in neighboring Bangladesh, which have affected millions of people.
Also, it's a white lie as the region has witnessed the most severe rainfall in the decades, which if anything is there to be blame for floods. Also, why would India do such a mean thing. India had long-standing tensions with Pakistan and all the rivers in Pakistan get water from india. There are dams on almost every river. If India wanted anyday, Pakistan may be drowned within hours. But, India had never done it. It is also to be noted that India does require Dams to hold water for it has its priorities, it people to serve.
Then, Why'd Bangladesh Lie About India Being Responsible For The Latest Floods?. Tyler Durden has published an article on Zerohedge depicting what's the conspiracy that's actually brewin in behind the scenes. Let's face it.

For the US Base in the Region?

It serves as the cover for once again hosting anti-Indian separatists, which could in turn provoke the implied threats from India that the post-coup authorities initially hoped to generate via mob violence against the Hindu minority and thus create the pretext for giving a base to the US.

Yes, for the US Base in the Region

The narrative was already spun by US Government-funded pundit Derek Grossman, who’s a senior defense analyst on the Indo-Pacific at the RAND Corporation, that India might have opened the dam without telling Bangladesh “in political retaliation” against the new government. The US has an interest in dividing-and-ruling India and Bangladesh because the resultant perception among the latter of newfound security threats from its much larger neighbor can lead to it finally giving a base to the US.

Due the pressure of Islamic Extremists?

After Bangladesh witnessed a flood in its territory, a big student protest (I would rather call it a radical protest by Islamic extremists) broke out in Dahaka echoing that India deliberately opened Tripura Dam to flow water inside Bangladesh. The protestors were demanding that the government should condemn India for this. Under the pressure of extremists, the puppet Environment Minister of interim government advocated in the same tune.

Border tense as Bangladesh guards stop India from building fence

Another evidence that the attitude of Bangladesh towards its long standing friend India has completely changed, is their recent and sudden increase in disputes with Indian Armed Forces on the border. Yesterday, they stopped Indian Border Security Force from building a cattle fence. Indian soldiers, however, shown maturity and did not give Bangladesh a immature response. Instead, they have first informed their seniors about the situation. The seniors then handled the matter patiently and did not go on to escalate the matter before a meeting of Generals from both sides is scheduled in September.
Look at how Indian Armed Forces remained so polite with a those Bangladeshi people who were trying to enter India at the time of turmoil.
Even then Bangladesh forces have recently captured six Indian civilians who unknowingly entered Bangladesh waters. When India asked them to release, they seem not to be cooperative. Instead, they have hailed all 6 Indian nationals.
On Saturday, BGB refused to return five Indian nationals who accidentally strayed into Bangladesh territorial waters. The five men were helping BSF personnel rescue smuggled animals in the Ganga on Saturday, when their speed boat developed a snag and the currents swept them towards Bangladesh. Despite several flag meetings at various levels, BGB has refused to return them and they were instead jailed in a Bangladesh prison. They are still in prison. Source
If it were Sheik Hasina's regime in Bangladesh, this would never ever happen. This shows how drastically Bangladesh has now inclined towards radical islamic narrative that it's started ignoring the mightiest neighbour of them. If it had just been ignoring, there might be no escalation. But Bangladesh is ready to cross any line now. I've repeated it and I'll keep repeating that Bangladesh is turning into another Afghanistan or Pakistan.
I was watching some videos where an independent journalist asking people for their preference between India and Pakistan. The most common answer people gave was Pakistan. When he asked why, they said that Pakistan is their real country. Who are these people? I suspect that a mass brain wash has been done in Bangladesh. The extremist forces like Jamat and BNP are heading to take control over Bangladesh and any hopes for saving the Democracy in Bangladesh will die all along.
So, I'm not sure whether Tyler's claims about US conspiring to get a base for US Army on St. Martin's Island have any base but the Islamic Radicalism has to be blamed for makin false and baseless lies about India.

I had been doing a lot of business from the country but their narrative about India had taken a complete Uturn I feel. No, business now at all at my level for more than 6 months now. I believe that the islamic narrative had spread its wings much before Hasina's demise.
For the controversy regarding US's involvement, I can't say much. But Bangladesh, even if it becomes a complete Muslim country, would not want to make bad relationship with India.
Like you see they have acknowledged, the water has come down through India, if all dams are opened, Bangladesh would be nothing in 24 hours!

I believe that the protests in Bangladesh weren't due to the outrage against the government. Instead they started as the clashes between two groups. One in favour of quota and the other who did not want it. But somebody turned the direction of those clashes towards government. That somebody is still hidden. It will slowly come out though.
The blame that India is responsible behind floods in Bangladesh is completely unacceptable. Geographically, all of Bangladesh is located on a delate of two major rivers - The Ganga and The Brahmputra. It's not for the first time that Bangladesh is under floods. They are there every year in the monsoon. It's just that Bangladesh don't want to accept their shortcomings about managing proper drainage system. If asked, why Bangladesh did not prepare for floods? Because, they were busy establishing a new Bangladesh.

I thought of you when reading this article a few hours ago. In the US Bangladesh isn't in the news often. I was guilty of swallowing the MSM narrative. This article certainly aligns with the events you depicted in your posts. US complicity isn't shocking.

Yes, you're right US can be involved in it. But the most probable are extremist forces who at any cost want Bangladesh to fall into Islamic Narrative of religious radicalism.
US just wants an Island but that island is much disputed. More than 2 countries claim that. Even if Bangladesh allows US, Vietnam would have objections to it. India had already made it clear that it won't allow any Western powers inside Bay of Bengal.

This type of information is given the importance it deserves in places like this in S.N because most of us who live and comment and publish here already know the truth! how the United States tries to take over or stick its nose into that most specific area of the planet near a country like India, something quite convenient from several points of view... there will be people who will not believe but it is true... but Obviously information as relevant as it is will not appear in the news of the day!! That's why I've always liked S.N.
