The Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) strongly condemns the recently implemented national firewall, warning of its severe and potentially catastrophic impact on the country’s rapidly growing IT sector.
Hasty because they do not want to tell the reality to the world outside, nor they want their people to consume any media outputs from outside world.

I think the org saying it is hasty is treading softly and assuming less malice than we with open eyes and no risk would say.
They are pointing out unintended consequences. That this "firewall" affects all Internet traffic.
Its absurd and terrible.

I totally agree!! The Nostr app could help a lot... just as it did and continues to do in the murderous and corrupt dictatorship that exists in Venezuela!! Personally I feel very satisfied because if we think about it, as technology advances, better means for freedom are created!! S.N is a clear example of this!! That freedom of expression is necessary... it is mandatory for the world to be a better place! Now the most important thing is that it is used in an appropriate and correct manner...

Fu*king clowns running the country.

They need Nostr... One of the primary reasons for these actions is the government seeking to censor political dissent. I know many folks do not think on the macro level as much as myself but what tech we use in more free nations does impact those living under oppressive regimes. I've written about it before. Its something to think about while you are using your pretty Apple devices and living in your nice homes. We are very fortunate.
