Let them grow old with the same love they let you grow up ... let them talk and tell repeated stories with the same patience and interest they heard yours as children ... let them overcome, as so many times they let you win ... let them enjoy their friends as they let you ... let them enjoy discussions with their grandchildren, because they see you in them ... let them enjoy living among the objects that have been with them for a long time, because they suffer when they feel you tear away pieces of that life ... let them make mistakes, as so many times you have made mistakes and they haven't embarrassed you by correcting you ...
LET THEM LIVE and try to make them happy on the last stretch of the road they still have to travel; give them your hand, just as they gave you their hand when you started your journey!
Great insights. Thanks for the share 💚

So a state licensed hospice care situation is probably a no, right?

I think it's a choice the parent itself need to do, in case is an option. Every case is different, if there's no awareness to take that decision consciously for themselves, someone else needs to take all the responsibility of that decision.
