IO used to have a lot of content and now the only thing that shows up is my fouintain stuff. when i go into other nostr things it's not there anymore and i look like an anonymous user with no profile pic, or profile and no activity.

I want to use nostr,
I want my customers to use nostr,
It will continue to improve.
However frustrating when I have tried to "push" my customers to use nostr.
As a B2B merchant posting or having links that will load fast is the issue.
If using ANY platform, from a business standpoint, (not discussions about cats), it has to be available number one in other Countries (American small business owners use WhatsApp to sell goods).
In the long run, when more restrictions kick in, maybe Nostr will be easier or I should say actually being used by merchants in other Countries.
But In the long run, SN will be, is better for posting goods for sale, it feels more stable, I think making a few SATS is not an issue at all.
SN provides a service, a very import service.

One of the fellow stacker suggested that you have to use all the available clients for Nostr if you want to know for sure that something is really wrong. Nothing really disappears in Nostr. On the contrary your post can be shadow banned in the Clearnet SocMed or even deleted without your consent.

Not this specific issue but I had a problem recently with the nostr account for the sports territory. I am using primal and when I downloaded the alby browser extension primal prompted me to login with alby which I stupidly did. I was clearly not thinking because my alby account is not linked to that nostr account.
Anyways this just logged me in to view nostr as if you just went to primal if you had no account but it wouldn't give me any option to login into my account or logout of this mode and every time I opened primal I was back in the same spot. I ended up unattaching primal from the alby browser extension and then I was able to login to primal like normal with my private key.

All my yakihonne content is gone. the only thing it does is relay any stacker activity over there. it's all there, but not anything I posted specifically to yakihonne. it's all gone. my sats are there, but not my content, and my sats are in an account that is not my main account. it may have something to do with primal as well. every time i use nostr, it goes to the primal, but primal is shitty, and i never use it. it used ot go to coralon or wtver that one is called. also not very good. i wonder what happened to all my yakihonne content. and whatever else.. wtf.

I saw some posts about people scaling back relays, recently. At a certain point, that is going to eat content.

Yep. Nostr isn't an indefinite backup of content. It only is so long as the relays that have it last.

same thing with blogstack. all gone. I'm looking at a platform that combines web 3 and 2. If i get good news about that and they hold content, I'll post it here.

Yeah, I feel you there. It's a hard dance to find. You get content that is permanent and never moving and not easy to find, or content that is easy to find, more malleable, and not especially permanent it seems.
