This weekend I had the pleasure to dog-sit Scout or as I like to call her Scoot! She is an absolute treasure as she is super laid back and loves to just vibe inside. Scoot is a rescue and with that, there is going to be baggage it just so happens that I am one of the few males she likes and in her mom's opinion her favorite dog sitter which I love to hear!
One thing though she never does including with me is spend the whole night lying in bed. Well well well I not only caught her but I was able to get photos of her bucking the normal trend and spend over 6 hours in my bed! Before I fell asleep I took a photo of her cuddling with me to the extent she cuddles.
Sadly, I woke up and had to go to the bathroom so when I tried getting back into bed she woke up realized what she did and SPRINTED my couch! I tried to talk and bribe her into getting back into bed but she refused to move a single paw 😂
When I sent her mom the evidence she died laughing that Scoot had been caught! I'm pretty sure Scoot was embarrassed because after that she was consistently getting on and off my bed but for a brief moment I caught her!
You seem to have the magic touch. It's tough finding sitters where we live.

I think it is the blessing of growing up with animals that helps me connect with the pups so well. It seems like in DC people either have a good sitter or two or they don't have a single sitter which I find interesting but that seems to be how it is!
