Alternative transport: no helmet, no insurance, no recent paperwork & no real worries on 2 wheels in this big Asian city! ;-)
Alternative problem solution for the above worst case: gold around my neck!
I would love to see you write a whole post about this and explain why you choose this way. And see what others have to say. It's an interesting perspective and way of being.

That has been planned for quite a while, so definitely will post here!

I love it. I do the same thing as far as paperwork and insurance. It's all a scam to me. I'm my opinion, when we purchase insurance, we are sun consciously setting and intention to need it and have an accident. Practice presence and mindfulness and then it's not needed. People don't want to take responsibility for their actions. Thanks for the share. 🙌

This particular thing was not a linear, clear and single decision. 2020 had a lot to do with it, and also there might be a time where I go back to something more semi-legal. That depends on other risk factors, like family here & visa...
One of the main factors is that in a traditional, sane culture you'll have to compensate for any damages anyway, insurance and legalities are secondary to that.
this often happens even if you're not at fault, and trying to push people around on this will definitely result in big trouble every single time!
In other words everything & anything has to be handled as you go along, and its all about staying out of any trouble in the first place.
Which might include not helping others too, that knowledge once held me out of trouble when some 12-13 year wannabe gangster pulled a 1911 Colt on the highway haha!
So yeah, I've driven off literally listening for bullets whizzing by...

I also had a huge shift this way in 2020, the year of clear vision. This was the year I sold my house in the city and moved to the desert to be more isolated. and I have only removed myself more since. I think this was a big year for many people. That's hardcore, having bullets whizzing by. I've never experienced anything like that. I do think I have experienced a couple ego deaths through psychedelics though. And those helped me see that death is not something to fear. We go on after this experience. So now I live fearless for the most part.
