Trump promises anything if elected. Really, politicians' promises are just that, promises.
The world's Bitcoin community is smart enough to let a politician fool them. Bitcoin is freedom.
Something I learned with the community always doubts. So it would not be logical to trust someone whose only interest is like all rulers are.
It is likely that Mr. Trump has his seeds for controlling his BTC, he is an intelligent person and knows what economics is.
The true capital of Bitcoin is El Salvador. Its president did not make such a fuss. Simply buy Bitcoin, mine Bitcoin, they have a circular economy. That is being the capital of Bitcoin.
We should try evaluating political candidates more based on their actions, not their promises.
Does Trump own bitcoin? I don’t know.
It’s known that he owns ETH and has launched NFT projects.
Has he mined BTC? Does he have a Lightning wallet?

Both Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. went to the Bitcoin conference. That was risky for both. Both have been affected by assassination attempts and poor security. I had tickets to the conference, myself and I chose not to go because I was concerned about my own security.
Trump was shot at and still went. Kennedy, having had his father and uncle killed over politics still went. Kennedy after the event even endorsed Donald Trump.
Trump might be a shitcoiner like many of us have been. He might still be one. In 2019 I was experimenting with all kinds of shitcoins. So what!
He's supposed to represent 300 million people. He's supposed to represent the ability for men and women to flourish without Government interfering with their pursuit of happiness.
I've investigated and listened to Biden, Harris, Trump and Kennedy. My research, experience and evidence points to Donald Trump being more akin to a noble man than anyone else. Warts and All.
I've stopped listening to NPR, APM, BBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, NBC, FOX, and all the channels owned by the few atheist antihuman cabal.
If you argue just to be clever or logical then you will surely win but you may not find the truth. The truth is that Donald Trump is a person who does not need to be in politics but he has chosen to do this. He has not increased his own earnings by politics. He has been attacked by the media, the courts, physically, the executive branch and the legislative branch. Can you understand that subpoenas to your friends, family and associates demand that they stop whenever they are doing and under fear of incarceration must submit to the state in order to be available for trials without compensation? Hundreds of people have lost their businesses under this process.
Anyway...
You must choose what you think is best. As I must also choose what I think is best. Voting every 4 years is not civil action. It's barely even a choice. Instead of is a temporary action where you can put it to the witnessing universe and God that this is what you would like.
People in my neighborhood, a small city, have more Harris and Democrat advertisement than the Trump people. There are Israel, Ukraine and Rainbow flags. There are also more American flags. The Walmart here and the Kroger are locking up most items due to theft. Businesses have left some new businesses have come in.
One business in my city accepts Bitcoin and has meetups there. The business owner hates Trump and will probably not vote at all.
I would like to have a president that at least can talk about Bitcoin. I would like someone who at least acknowledges that government is bad and needs to shrink.
On the up and up it's not going to keep me from being happy and in service to God. It's just a civil, secular thing.

The part about Trump not enriching himself by being a career politician doesn’t get enough attention.
Many people especially SN community talk about disrupting the status quo … except politics, oh no we can’t afford to rock the boat with anti establishment personalities
The main reason why bitcoin users should vote against Kamala is a 30 percent mining excise tax

We can take the approach that is all nihilistic. I've held this view many times. Now, however I'm not worried about the promises but I'm listening to the talk. I'm not holding any talk to be an absolute truth but I'm at least paying attention.
Robert F Kennedy and Donald Trump went to the Bitcoin Conference. No one from the Biden or Harris team went officially. That says more than words. Even after being shot at Donald Trump went. Even after an attempted assassination Donald Trump continued to campaign and further than any recent politician in 70 years, he had an opponent, Robert F Kennedy, endorse him. These are not mere actions.
I've read Robert F Kennedy Jr.'s book about COVID, Bill Gates and Fauci. It's more than just words. It's well researched, documented and presented. If you have really payed attention to Trump and the people who have been close to him you will find it very difficult to find people who hate him.
As I stated earlier. Many small business people who are successful and worth millions, people I have met as customers, they love Donald Trump and they can tell you thousands of positive reasons of policy, action or credential that Donald Trump is their man. It's not my opinion but it's my experience and their testimony. Conversely people who are unsuccessful, state dependent and emotionally depressed, hate Donald Trump.

It is true that you, like me, have the right not only to believe in what you want, but also to express it. I would never question someone's judgment, that is respect for freedom of expression.
I don't consider myself a connoisseur of Bitcoin, politics or economics. Only, as you say, it must be based on facts and not words.
Mr. Trump, who made a promise to make the US the Bitcoin capital of the world, attended a Bitcoin conference, but during his term in office he DID NOTHING FOR BITCOIN ADOPTION IN THE UNITED STATES.
The President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, never promised anything to make El Salvador the capital of Bitcoin, he simply began his mandate in 2019 and in 2021 ADOPTED BITCOIN AS LEGAL CURRENCY. That's a fact, not a promise.
In addition, it has developed together with the Salvadoran people a CIRCULAR ECONOMY AROUND BITCOIN, that is also a fact, not a promise.
On July 25, 2024, the digital newspaper Energías Renovables published an article about Bitcoin mining in El Salvador that stated the following:
"At the request of Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador, 300 bitcoin mining equipment have already been installed at the Tecapa plant, generating a total of 474 BTC in the blockchain network to date. According to the bit2me.com portal, the holdings of bitcoin from El Salvador amount to 5,751.7 BTC.
To mine cryptocurrencies it is necessary to use equipment that requires a large amount of energy, considering all the necessary installation and ventilation. The National Bitcoin Office states that with mining operations from the Tecapa volcano, the country is demonstrating that it is possible to mine this digital currency in a sustainable way."
This is a fact, not a promise.
I reiterate that everyone is free to think, say and act as they want, that is freedom of expression, which they also have. For my part, I do not give my ears to any politician to listen to their talks and promises. I base myself on the facts.

El Salvador is a great example for many including the United States but the United States is a very big place and Texas is probably doing the most in the United States.
Donald Trump is the only candidate who is running and saying he supports Bitcoin.
It's important to also note that Americans have been in El Salvador working on Bitcoin projects since 2017. Bitcoin Beach is what opened up the minds of many.
The US needs someone who will not shut the door on other Americans also working very hard to shine the light on Bitcoin.

My experience as well
Trump doesn’t get enough credit for his deregulation agenda in his first term.
