"Sure, I have heard of Bitcoin, but what exactly is it? " They continue to be skeptical!
Regretfully, the person you are introducing to Bitcoin does not understand what money is!
If, then does not realize how it is being used against his will
What is your strategy, stackers?
I work for a community where I have to educate people about money and the misconceptions that have caused them to be uninformed and burdened financially.
Let's say that the person doesn't know anything about bitcoin and much less about money. Well, there's no other option, he has to learn in a simple way what money is. How would you do it? By giving him a brief history of money from barter to fiat money. Up to this point he should already understand that money is a means of exchange, to obtain goods and pay for services. So he already knows what money is, but why bitcoin and not the dirty fiat? There we would talk about how banks work, how they multiply money out of nothing (fractional reserve) and that this leads to more inflation compared to bitcoin which has a fixed emission. The truth is that there is a lot to start with, but knowing what money is is important.

I totally agree with you, my dear 🀝🀠 In my humble opinion, I would say that the first thing without a doubt is to learn and understand about money, and then from there start pulling the other threads.

Some eventually give up and accept this since they understandably feel stuck 😐

Here in Cuba something similar happens, and it is normal for human beings to reject change and feel comfortable with what they know even if it is harmful to them.

It's a very complicated thing, most people don't want to know anything about bitcoin, privacy, anonymity, self-custody and even less understand the money they use every day, it's very difficult to reach new people, I tried to preach this about Bitcoin a couple of years ago and it went terribly for me, because I didn't know anything back then either, I just had a few strokes of luck in the 2021 bull market and I still didn't understand bitcoin at first I only saw it as something where making more money was possible (obviously thinking in Fiat and without having the slightest idea of what money actually was). So I decided that the best strategy regarding that was to do nothing, leave people πŸ‘₯ alone in Normie-land, dedicate myself to learning and understanding Bitcoin and all its neighboring burrows, without being closed to the idea that I would ever find people really willing to learn, and I would show them what I had seen. And so it was that a year later I came across two brothers willing to understand what Bitcoin was, its foundations and derivatives, because they are also honest working-class people, migrants, and they know and feel that something is not right with the world. That something else is missing, so now I am taking up that project again, basically I have done it without imposing a high stipulated cost, simply a small monthly donation in SATS. Our main study strategy is to understand money, from its creation to the present day, the importance of Bitcoin to break the FIAT system, learn to take care of privacy and its importance, among other topics, week by week we work and create discussion sessions on topics and experiences related to what we are learning about Bitcoin.

I have learned that people don't listen but they do observe. I teach by showing, not talking. Eventually, they will all come around as there is no other option that provides any sense of hope for the future.

Yeah, agree. Understanding fiat and its design flaws is a must. But not every one is ready or worthy of holding bitcoin
