By week 9 everyone will forget week one. NFL is a week to week league.
18 weeks is a long season. Who remembers week one from last year? I only remember the Chargers losing to the dolphins in a close high scoring game.
Football has the highest ratio of opining about a team/ actual length of playing time. We spend 6.5 days talking about 3 hour game.
Football also has the most national coverage. Every team is discussed. No one is ignored. Regardless of how good or terrible

I remember the Chiefs losing to the Lions week one last year and the 49ers absolutely steamrolling the Steelers.
But yes week one doesn’t really matter. We will find out what teams are real contenders in the coming weeks.
