Its a tough one. A lot of thought needs to go into how you pass your bitcoin on to your heirs. Or you can pay fees to services like unchained or casa so you don't have to think too much.
I don't know if this is relevant to say but I am currently studying everything related to bitcoin and marketing... and there are many tools to save our Bitcoin for the future of our children or loved ones... and information is power!! If they know how to decipher and I teach them how to manage them, it will be economically the best thing I can do for them!! In addition, when I am gone, Bitcoin will have much more value, I am sure of this💪💪
I am making a storybook that will have the key words hidden in plain sight in pictures and I will hand that book down. Those who know how to spot the keys will know (my kids and wife), others will just see a children's storybook.
Leave nothing unspent. The next generation can take care of themselves and are best of not expecting inheritance.
That said if there is anything remaining unspent my seed phrase is stored in code known to one trusted person. The key to the code will be transferred to that person via my will.
I think this is an important issue and it is not given much importance. In my case I have a fund for my daughters so that if something happens to me my wife can use it to move forward. However, I do not use an advanced method for this, my wife simply knows how to recover the funds.
I hardly have a few thousand sats. Don't exactly know when should someone have to plan for inheritance of Bitcoin.
I'm so happy not only me ( #326660 ) is looking an answer for this question
Btw, here's a great article/tutor #326762
It should extends your post
Nice try, Fed
(Finally got to be the first one to say this!)
As I said many times: if they are not capable to take my sats while I am alive... they get NOTHING.
Proof of work!
This might be the way. Bitcoin needs its custodian to understand what they're holding.
I'm going to teach my daughter how to access and manage things before i pop off, i will then show here where the seed is and all that
no tax authority will be informed of anything and neither will any solicitor making a will

Instructions in my will, on-chain script, and Collaborative custody.
I have it all written out. I think it is important to plan, because tomorrow isn't guaranteed!

I plan to teach my family everything I know about Bitcoin and maybe I can die in peace.

Needs to be better.
I don't have any plan till now. Will think about it later.
