Local traditions.
I would like to start an exchange of items for Bitcoin.
Preferably small items at first.
Locally made or historically significant, or things that your culture has that we can't get access to even if that's information.
Knowing oddity and specifics is my bread and butter, and learning them tends to be even more fun.
This platform is amazing and I've met some really great people here so far would like that to continue.

I know little out side the U.S I'm only 33 some my history knowledge is low. So I looked up things about Greece. The Greek Drachma Pre-Euro coins look super 😎 cool. 1977-1991. I would love to get a few. Now I'm reading about the transition to the euro dollar seems like it was a mess. I saw one statistic that was like 340 to 1. Is there any books that you recommend on the topic. I have kids and they have the best wooden toys ever.

It was an adhoc website built especially for the affected businesses in Greece by the limitations of using their money from banks.
So some guys started a web marketplace where businesses start to trade in bitcoin, raw materials, products, mainly import-export stuff.
I at least got 2 guys in my cretan village to take the btc train. One accepts LN in his restaurant. Greeks move fast if they need to

So you want to build a some kind of marketplace with Bitcoin, like raw materials?
You should look into getting local salvadoran producers to sell their products for bitcoin worldwide (coffee, bananas, iguanas, pupusas, whatever...).
For more they will start selling their local produce for sats, bigger the bitcoin circular economy will became.
I would like to see somebody organizing this kind of marketplace, like an intermediary for worldwide delivery, and contracting local producers. Bitcoiners from around the world will just order products from El Salvador, and they get sats. Everybody is happy.
But for this you may have to go to El Salvador and build that place, talking with local producers, organizing all the export and shit, papers...
But it could became something really big and important someday. A lot of potential there.
This would be the dream, I'm currently a chef and I constantly think about how to exchange food and labor for BTC.
I talked to some of the employees and I also talked to my coworkers about this.
Education seems to be the biggest drawback in the sense of I don't really have a five sentence paragraph that I can tell them to make it click in their head due to proof of work.

I very much support any efforts in humans being able to trade goods. I will be glad to post any items on our site and bulletins we send out. Some suggestions from selling, marketing online on various domains since 1998.
Try and reach merchants with an "open arms approach" what I mean by this, in the past I have tried to immediately "push" people to only use Bitcoin at the beginning of conversations in person and online.
Today I have a tiny amount of B2B customers and suppliers around the World that use BTC, USDT, Liquid. Many, many, repeat many cannot afford large B2B transactions and want to do multiple payments or a combination of payment types. I HAVE LEARNED TO BE OPENED MINDED, I was introduced to Bitcoin from a few years of Sh*t coins.
I can provide some possible purchases into the USA from other Countries, but I'm in Honolulu, Hawaii and past experiences it's easier if whoever is offering any food stuffs, general merchandise, homemade goods, at some point they will need basic info to keep the attention and interest of a commercial buyer.
Looking forward to reviewing and possibly purchasing items that are logical for re-selling to my dealers.

An open arm approach is exactly where I'm at right now I'm trying to work with one local soap company in my city to accept Bitcoin and exchange for bars of soap.
I own a very small detail company and I always offer to accept Bitcoin as payment although I've had no takers yet mainly because of the age of my clients.
However as we progress I hope this changes.
I'm pretty new to this line of thought I've only been on this journey for about 2 years but I appreciate all the people such as yourself that allow information to flow.
