It's 17 out of 51 that are paid off.

Wow, I figured it would be less since they were a new feature. I guess we don't know when they were bought outright, could have been more recently.

I know at least 5 were outright in the first month.

How new is the feature?

I think https://stacker.news/~Dogs_And_Cats was one of the first created, and it shows as created early December 2023, so I guess about 9-10 months old now

Oh, wow. Quick question. Once I pull the funds together. Is there a way to pay on chain. I have never moved big amounts on lightning before.

No way to do it onchain right now. Maybe you can do a swap to pay it with https://boltz.exchange/
reply
Okay. I'll look into it. Thank you.

I’ll try this as well!

My only concern would be the invoice expiring by the time the onchain payment clears. So it might not work.

Yup just tried boltz rejected it.

Let me see if I can pay just with my ln node maybe I can find a route today

Obviously opening a big channel to SN will work. I know it will cost some sats, but then you can use it for zapping and receiving later.

I still don't know much about it. It's kind of embarrassing. I tried running a lightning node before and it was very confusing to me so I shut it down. I should set my node back up and learn enough to make this happen though.
reply
Yeah this might be the solution

I'm not sure where you live, but I know cash app does LN payments, or at least they did. Not in NY, though
