Oh how the mighty have fallen.
This is just a poll. Trudeau is regarded the most handsome leader at this time. Was it not for his looks that women votes for him?
reply
I actually think that was part of it initially. Don’t think that is relevant 9 years later.

Has he lost his charm or people want to see someone more charming?
reply
I think when you make people’s lives worse over time and have scandal after scandal and accuse your political opponents of all the things you are doing the charm wears off.

If that's the case, no charm is gonna work for him this time. Thanks for your responses. I've got a few friends there and they also hold the same views about him.

That’s cool. Yes, very big Indian community in Canada. I spent a lot of time in the Indian community because one of my business partner’s was from India (he was born in India but came to Canada when he was a kid).
We had a Hindu Mandir as one of our customers.

Even @Coinsreporter didn’t know that.

May be he knows more than I do because one of his closest friends is in Toronto and owns a bar.

Thanks 😊 I hope Indians are not making too much chaos there.

Indian community is great. Newcomers don’t drive very well though. They must think they are still driving in Mumbai. Haha

Lol I remember when his blackface and all the other issues he had broke years ago and thought it would sink him but he was like Tefflon refusing to have it stick and sink him.
reply
You are allowed to wear blackface and sexually abuse women if you play for the right team. And the kicker is if you disagree with the guy that wore blackface and sexually abused a woman you get called a racist and misogynist.

Are any of the top 3 even remotely reasonable?
reply
They are politicians and political parties so definitely don't meet any definition of reasonable that you or I would probably have but for a politician Pierre Poilievre is at least tolerable. Although he stopped talking about Bitcoin after the price dropped in the bear market so I am prepared to be disappointed. He can't possibly be worse than Trudeau.

There's always more room at the bottom.
It's good to hear Canada has at least a prospect of improvement.

It's surprising how well the Conservative party is polling. I would have assumed most pissed off Liberal voters would just move to the NDP (socialist party) but Conservatives are picking up the majority of disenfranchised Liberal voters.
reply
Our system is obviously less complex, but lots of "default Democrats" have been defecting to the new MAGA Republican coalition.
reply
Good news, but this worm seems to have the ability to somehow survive.
reply
As Mises said and wrote many times, we liberals should fight and take the word liberal back from all these shenanigans.
reply
If only.

I hope he doesn't get re-elected, Canada deserves much much better than this authoritarian socialist.
I'll never forget the Canadian truckers.
reply
Expected 2nd or 3rd. We know who wins, a matter of time.
NDP needs to capitalize on this, wonder how long Jagmeet will lead.
reply
We will see what happens. Conservatives are polling well right now but I expect the full on Pierre is evil and "Trump of the North" campaign will inevitably ramp up as the election approaches and some of those disenfranchised Liberal votes will go to NDP instead of Conservatives. Not enough to win obviously but enough for to be opposition. Most Canadians trust the media and the media will most certainly run a slander campaign on Pierre. Especially CBC who he claims he will defund.
reply
Fair enough, depending on how the US elections play out I can see those smear campaigns taking off!
