I think Ohtani has surpassed Ichiro's popularity in both Japan and the rest of the world.

Im sure he has.
But when I was introduced to baseball, it was Ichiro.
Ohtani may become the best, but he will never win as many gold gloves.

I havent really watched baseball enough to know who is better.
I just know Ichiro is famous.
There was Kawasaki.
And Ohtani.
But Ichiro will forever be #1.
