Mine is younger and I don't have experience with 10yo, but I'll say this:
Present the material to them, and give them time to discover and absorb on their own, don't let bitcoin override their current interests.
When they're ready, you'll know.

i haven't really decided, im thinking really i should just cover the basics and stop myself going off on a rant about bretten woods, petro dollars and all the other stuff

my kid isn't some budding maxi that is like, dad, teach me! 

but it's my job to make sure they are aware and will start their lives understanding the hold principle
