I'm not the one who's going to use it, but I have to admit that CBDCs are very good for governments and it's certainly only a matter of time before they're forced to use them. This is the worst, programmable state money is total control over the population. With CBDC it is possible to limit, for example, food purchases within a radius of 10 km (in covid this was implemented for sure).
