I just started listening, but this seems like a great history. Sort of a more measured version of Whitney Webb's book.
I might be the wrong judge, but he seems super lucid to me. It's not like he's no one either - he worked in the state department and cites the government's own public documents for nearly everything. Still, it all feels too crazy to be true, public, and underreported.

I kept listening after my initial reaction. He seems very lucid, which is scary. I don't know whether or not you have checked out Whitney Webb's book One Nation Under Blackmail https://www.amazon.com/One-Nation-Under-Blackmail-Intelligence/dp/1634243013
but she covers a lot of this stuff, along with a lot more. Her book is abundantly referenced. I'm pretty sure what he says here is mostly accurate.

I haven’t read it. She tends to make me more paranoid than I want. Benz doesn’t for some reason. But maybe in t written word she’s more comforting.

I know what you mean. Even the book got to be too much at times.
