Lately, I've been writing some guides to help stackers better know how to attach their wallets to SN and zap directly fromm there. You can check the previous ones:
This is a quick survey to help me drive efforts on which guide to write next, and if there's any interest on the options below:

Nice try, fed!

Boring... polls are anonymous now!

now? Was it possible to find out previously? 🧐
reply
I think @k00b and @ek could see it before, but it wasn't publicly available.

Yes, this
@WeAreAllSatoshi changed it a while ago to us knowing that you voted (so we can update the UI accordingly) but no longer what you voted.

You have amazing memory
reply
Exactly what a fed would say.
reply
🀣 ok fella, you win!

Looking forward to the next guide

You sumbitch

Someone should write a bot that replies β€œnice try, fed” to all polls
reply
Crass and artless
reply
Not a fan of bots?
reply
I don't mind bots, but that would reduce the sophisticated art of Fed spotting to indiscriminately smearing all pollsters.
reply
Do you think k00b notices if they are a fed with their login? Lol
reply
No, he notices because they're his colleagues.
reply
I think he has way too much going on to pay that close of attention
reply
Good points!
reply
I'm using all of them.

Maybe we need an Electrum wallet plugin to link to SN... Just saying. Electrum LN on desktop is quite powerful LN wallet too and really undervaluated.
Also Blixt (LND) is coming soon with a desktop version.

Can't wait to have bolt12 on LND

Why are you not adding options for phoenixd and breez?

fair point, tho there is nuance in it, specially breezsdk (i'm assuming you meant that not the old wallet app).
with breezsdk/greenlight you're running a remote signer, not a node. which is for a lot of use cases better if not just a lot easier. but it does come with couple caveats that people should be aware of.
with phoenixd you're tired to phoenix and their lsp. both have some privacy implications since you're potentially leaking some information to the lsp, or at least they are in a slightly more priviledged position over you as a random node you'd open a channel to

breezsdk
Looking into it. What would be the most suitable for stackers here?
  • Breez SDK - Native (Greenlight Implementation)
  • Breez SDK - Nodeless (Liquid Implementation)
reply
He already posted a guide for pheonixd
reply
phoenixd has been covered already #695912
Breeze the wallet? I'll evaluate, thanks for the suggestion anon
