If I have a website and want to sell content, why can't I add Mash and allow people to pay with Lightning?
Mash is going against the corporate media subscription model, as they make clear in their copy material, but forcing all visitors to sign up isn't exactly a much better UX than the subscription model.
Jake from Mash here. Great question – thank you for the feedback! 🙌
We're building Mash to be accessible for everyone (from Lightning enthusiasts to non-technical pre-coiners), aiming to provide the best user experience possible (more than scanning QR codes); to enable this securely, we need users to log in. That being said, we're actively thinking about this and other Lightning-native experiences on our end (like lnurl-auth to make logging in a little easier for Lightning-savvy desktop users). ⚡️

Why can't I get an anonymous account created automatically for me after I pay the first invoice? That could be stored on the browser localStorage.
