Hutchinson is great but he sucks against the run. I don’t think that will matter if he gets 20 sacks though.
That's why I'm so insistent about Crosby being better than most of the elite edge rushers. He plays every snap, unlike many of these guys who are specialists and need another guy to play defense for them on running downs.

True, I was just seeing their team stats which were bottom 3rd in the league mostly.
He has super impressive production considering how much he is doubled or chipped. 97 points against vs Steelers 53 for TJ
Same with Bosa.
Yeah, my skepticism of Bosa is entirely health related.
He had the one season where he missed almost the entire year due to ACL tear, otherwise he hasn’t missed more than 1 game any other year. Hopefully that continues.
Interesting, I'm probably inflating that one injury and then also conflating his health with his brother's.
Joey has definitely been more injury plagued. 2020 was brutal for the 49ers. Coming off the super bowl they lost a bunch of their starters to major injuries and had a terrible season. The way this season started with injuries reminds me of that year but fortunately thus far other than Hargrave none of the injuries seem to be season ending. Although CMC will probably miss a few more weeks and come back after the bye.
Also, 49ers depth has been better than I thought it was.
If a few more of the elite edge rushers get injured, he'll have a decent shot.
