I’ve been blogging on my WordPress website for a while and most of the time it feels like I’m speaking into a void.
After receiving zaps on my first long form post on @sn yesterday, it’s a no-brainer to focus my energy here (and crosspost to Nostr and there later).

Same! Even on NOSTR or Twitter it feels like I’m shouting into the void and the only engagement I get is from people I tag directly like @grayruby.
On Twitter maybe it’s because I refuse to pay for the blue check, but on Nostr there’s no “reason.” I’ve even got 1500 followers on Twitter and 350 on Nostr!
I think SN succeeds because there’s monetary incentive to look at brand new “recent” posts and zap em because you get sats back. Like you say even if it’s a small amount, it’s real money so there are stakes (instead of no stakes)
I made my first long form post today to great success. Offering real content for people to read here gives value! #708260

Curious from your view, do you not receive as many sats on NOSTR?
I prefer using this not because of the sats, but the nice UI/theme, the longer form posts and the territories are nice.
Also, gotta keep that hat haha :)

I haven’t prioritized long form on Nostr mainly because most clients don’t support it yet, so it essentially isn’t seen by many.
So yeah, @sn first. 😎

Boom. Used nos2x to connect my Nostr account to @sn. Once that was done, I came to this post, clicked the three dots, and crosspost to nostr.
It was a smooth experience and it looks great too. Very impressed.
