For the friends of Pink Floyd I have a classic, just performed by David Gilmore and his band in Rome: 'Comfortably Numb' (Tapio Ylinen on YT)
The concerts in Rome took place in the old Circus Maximus, the old chariot racing circuit of ancient Rome. A truly extraordinary place.
To enjoy...

Great song and performance. To give you an idea of how old I am, we used to go to midnight showings of Pink Floyd in Pompeii :

You are going to tell me that You've been there? In person? Madre mía!! I just say: 'Set the controls for the heart of the sun'....
reply
No! I have been to Pompeii, but not when Pink Floyd played there. I'm not that old. They would show the film in the late 70s and early 80s. The music from that concert was pre Dark Side, I think.

Lol. Sorry. But what a time of music

It was great. I once made a list of all the great concerts I attended in my lifetime.

Fantastic. I one missed the opportunity to see Paco de Lucia (greatest guitarist of spanish guitar) live in Germany because I preferred to see a hockey match (of course we lost)
reply
Wow! He was a fantastic guitar player. Have you ever listened to Tommy Emmanuel? Australian guitar player. Not spanish style, but truly unbelievable. You should see him once.

Never heard of him. I'll have a look
I've never heard that performance but I've this one in my playlist. I've to admit that the words go very deep in his songs. Gilmour is fantastic!
