I mean, the participation. Do you think if you didnt add 100k for a week, all the assmilkers would disappear? lol

What if you lowered it to 50k? Do you really think the regulars would leave?

Wow you’re very sure about this! Why are you so sure?

Because most people won’t spend much time here when they’re at a net loss financially.

Blunt, but honest! Definitely makes the business model tough having to personally pump 100k sats into the reward pool each week to keep the site afloat.
I mean that’s the whole draw/differentiator right? That we came for the sats? Next step is to stay for the community.
But it’s easier for me to stay here when I’m neutral. And it’s more fun to be here when I can freely give 100 Sat zaps knowing I’ll get it back.
The most honest thing I saw in a @Natalie guide or @Coinsreporter guide was that if you’re here to earn sats it’s an inefficient use of your time. Cuz it takes a LOT of time to earn comparatively less sats.
Would earn more money getting a job helping actually develop Stacker News with you and @ek! Of course not all can do that! Not all can be funny either… 😅

It’s actually 100k per day, not per week. So quite a bit!
I like seeing the daily rewards, if I get any. But the content and interaction is the reason I’m here. Sats are bonus

I think you would be surprised at how many people would stay. At least the people l am thinking about, they would stay.

Who would stay? Which territory founders would stay?
