I haven't heard many opinions about these two books: Resistance Money
I am about forty percent through Resistance Money. So far it exceeds my expectations. When I finish it maybe I'll write a review, unless another stacker beats me to it.
I watched a few podcasts with Svetski that discussed The Bushido Of Bitcoin, but I haven't gotten my hands on a copy yet.
Any opinions on either book?
Once @ek gets around to creating editable posts, I will post a directory of bitcoin books. I'm sure it's on the top of his "to do" list.
Waiting for my copy of Bushido to arrive...sometime next month - though I have managed to get a couple sneak peeks and I am super excited to see it all together!
As for Resistance Money - I like everything I have heard about it but haven't ordered a copy yet - I think the three authors certainly seem to be on a path that is similar to Bitcoin. I just hope their scholarly brains don't get in their way too much - according to their talk at Bitcoin Amsterdam they are working on another book and have written 2 acedemic papers...and are working on others as well....

I was worried that Resistance Money would be an academic philosophy work too. No reason to fear. It's the exact opposite. It is very well written, and their ideas are explained plainly and in an easily understandable way. For me it's almost like math and computer concepts for the more left brained, english major types. I feel like I understand how bitcoin works technically as a result of this book, and I'm not half way through. It would be a pretty good introductory book.

I have the same opinion as my friend @grayrubi. I haven't read them yet but I'm looking forward to reading the opinions of those who have finished them. For now I'm reading "The Bitcoin Pattern" and "FlashBoys" which talks about high-frequency trading. "The Bushido of Bitcoin" is on the list of books 📚 waiting to be read.

I loved Resistance Money -- said so publicly at AIER as well as in Bitcoin Magazine Print. https://aier.org/article/bitcoin-is-resistance-money/
Probably the best intro book, esp for skeptics/normies or left-leaning peeps (Sry, Jason Maier!).
Bushido isn't out yet (...and look out for next BM Print for my review there!) but there's plenty of Svetski material out about it. Introduction/first chapter is available here https://barsoom.substack.com/p/hard-money-and-hard-men
