…. However, while Mazzucato is skilled at extolling the virtues of government-led initiatives, her argument overlooks a crucial flaw—the state’s susceptibility to political incentives.
Unlike market entrepreneurs, who are driven by the pursuit of profit, the state operates based on political motivations. As a result, government officials may continue supporting failing projects for the sake of national prestige rather than economic viability and serving the consumer.
Why do individuals think that the state is a better entrepreneur than real entrepreneurs (people)? Who has more skin in the game, the individual or the bureaucrat? Have you ever seen a bureaucrat make good economic decisions? What is the basic purpose of a bureaucrat? Why do they work?

Their goal is to convince you to pay them to control you, sadly very few people want to open their eyes to that reality

Sadly, that is so. There are, I think, enough people awake to it to cause them lots of problems in their program, though.

The problem is that many billion-dollar enterprises love to collude with the state. They sponsor political campaigns for what, because they are idealists 🤣

Hohohohoho…. Because they are idealists…hohohoho. Yep, they are idealists as long as the ideal is more for them and less for you. Crony capitalism is one of the signs of the end of empires and we have it in spades.

Power should always come with added, personal risk!

Yes, I have been seeing a meme lately. It is: a howitzer shell with the words “The dildo of consequences rarely comes lubricated” written on it. Perhaps the duel would be one of those hard consequences.

Haha... These days freaks would do duels like that, I have no doubt......... :-/
Actually I think I saw the peak of the modern state actually achieving something in the early seventies into the early eighties with railroads that totally worked and so on, but of course that was all built on top of private enterprise when you checked the details...
