pull down to refresh

Oooof Founding Fathers was another swing and a miss because they were all for neutrality they didn’t want to pick sides. Just read Washington’s Farewell address where he stated “to steer clear of permanent Alliances”. Thomas Jefferson insisted that American policy should continue to be based on the principle of "peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none."
They were not isolationists as that term didn’t even exist in English yet but as far as being engaged in the world it was for commerce for trade. Not sending army’s.
John Adam’s during the Continental Congress urged for only entering trade treaties.
There are more examples if you need from other Founding Fathers but I figure those three kinda sum it up… plus just look at their history
Yeah, look at their history. They were deists that believed in separation of church and state and freedom of religion which also means freedom from religion if one chooses. Our founding fathers are rolling in their graves that almost have the country is in a cult that supports a wanna be autocrat who has vocally and via social media numerous times said he intends to take the country in that direction. That's a fact. And if you don't believe that, then you sir arein the cult. Or you're just okay with our country becoming an autocracy which doesnt make you a patriot it makes you a terrorist.
