BAM! There it is again! You get to see this awesome chart! Today, we are dealing with the Third house, which is usually the purview of Gemini. Here, we find the house in Gemini, but barely, and it is sitting there in a wounded manner with that pesky key/Chiron sitting on top of it. The majority of the house, however, is occupied by Cancer--which is the sign of emotion or the Mother.
In very old astrology, the Third house is considered to be the house of siblings, and you learn how to communicate in your early life around those closer in age to you due to your siblings. So, there is some serious family/mommy/sibling problems going on here. Especially this is the case where the Father is involved. Dad, or the "tenth house" is gonna be larger than life, whereas the Mom is going to be seen as somehow "less than" in most instances--or at the very least not talking about what's wrong.
Thing about how this placement works, though, is if "Mom" doesn't find an outlet, there is a good chance someone if not the whole family is going to be visiting the loony bin.
In this case, this applies to the whole town of Austin, and so we can safely replace the notions of Mother and Father with Yin and Yang and then apply the new abstraction to everyone in the town. The public persona and the "at home" version are likely to be very, very different with a predisposition toward substance abuse if a strong Church life is not present.
Odds are high that the "possible pride" of the Fourth house plays into this dynamic, although again, if Leo and the ego are constituted rightly, the "wound" of the Third won't be an issue, but there might be some spiritual gift present that isn't easily explainable in terms of having access to knowledge that is highly unique in some way. If this is the case, the issue quickly becomes what to do with the knowledge, as the stresses of the faith house begin to appear and assert themselves. Faith and knowledge can flow as one, but often occupy separate positions in the minds of many.
Do you have a YouTube channel of anything?
reply
I used to, but Youtube is a terrible platform. I might do something with flare which is nostr powered some time in the future? I'm not sure what the audience is like for this material now.
reply
I had never heard of flare. Checking it out now. Looks promising.
reply
I agree. I have a lot I want to share and at one point I had a YouTube channel. I have taken it all down now since. In this space, this material isn't in high demand yet. But being early is key. Once there is a good platform, like stacker, being the only guy sharing this type of content should set you up to do well eventually.
reply
I am really loving these. Please keep sharing. Eventually there could be a post that brings it all together and links to all the different sections.
reply
I was thinking that, actually!
reply
Seriously keep it up. You are the astrology dude and we need you. Build it and they will come.
reply
Inevitably there will be an astrology territory here. You may be the founder and help set the tone if you are interested.
reply
Or maybe a territory that includes things like numerology, and other esoteric science. What would that be called?
reply
They are all subsets of "spirituality" which is a sorely lacking category!
reply
I wonder if there is a way to cofound a territory with multiple people.
reply
I don't know. It's a great question!
There you go. That's what we need. I would love to be part of that.
reply
Me too. I've seen others on here talk about it. There used to be a "Christianity" category which would also fit under that definition.
