It is with great pain that I write this, as I've over the past week been infected with the awesomeness of stacker news. I promised myself to be devoted to making a post or 2 every day to see how consistent I could be at accumulating the cowboy hats. Seeing that some Stackers like @koob @Rsync25 et al, have impressive streaks, I challenged myself to also going as far as possible. You can imagine my disappointment after coming on here, only to find that my cowboy hat was gone.
I don't know if it is reversible, but I sure am peeved and curious as to the schema used in calculating, cos if it's the 24 hr mark, I sure as hell didn't miss yesterday as I made this post before going to bed yesterday.
I had initially made this mistake some months back while trying to achieve this goal but having discovered what I thought was a hack (aligning to the US time difference), I thought I should give it a go. Apparently, it would seem that even following that might be wrong.
I propose a change in allowing individual stackers have their time zone peculiar to them so that these sorts of issues be avoided.
I still love this site with passion, I am just a bit set aback by this disappointment

How wise of you to say that

It’s not just the posting, you also need to spend at least 100 sats every 24 hours.
My record was 8 or 9 days. I lost the cowboy hat. Then I went on to achieve a 232 streak. Lost again. Now I just passed the 60th day recently. Losing the cowboy hat sucks, and you can always rebuild
