Today is a big milestone. I'm now 100% sure that MLS messaging is going to work on Nostr! 🤙 I've been optimistic for weeks now but... you never know until you write that last line of code that ties it all together.

Personally, this project has stretched me way out of my comfort zone. I'm a web dev, not a cryptographer! I also didn't really know much about memory management or compiled languages before getting started on this project. Suffice to say, I've come a long way! 😊

It's not quite ready for use, but I'll have builds out very soon

Yeah, this, but we can only externally forward to one recipient but SN's custodial model supports multiple forwards.

A compromise we've been discussing is to only allow external forwards to the first recipient or if it's a 100% forward but that sucks to explain.

Worth the explanation if it ties into the referral system.

You could include 100% zap forwarding to outside LN addresses, In the explanation of the SN referrals. Would be low key, but the main stackers that forward zaps anyway would probably understand. Could chalk it up to, a SN easter egg that the daily active users eventually find and use.

that price is a minimal 2 core server, if that, probably some some single-hosted shared Docker container network. Isn't there encryption keys? It's either a resource issue or a need for multithreading, or writing in a different, more efficient language, such as Golang, the easiest-to-speed ratio. I'm not sure if there's multithreading, but that's needed to make anything most efficient. AI ...
