Concerns about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (Sids) have often led paediatricians to discourage bed-sharing. However, when studies control for other Sids risk factors including unsafe sleeping surfaces, Sids risk does not seem to differ statistically between co-sleeping and solitary sleeping infants.
I don’t think doctors or researchers are being allowed to properly examine the causes of SIDS. They will always say correlation does not mean causation, however, they cannot examine the role of vaccinations in SIDS. You may notice that, here in the US, only children that follow the vaccination schedule are dying. Completely unvaccinated children do not die from SIDS or have allergies. Imagine that!
