is is a tragic example of the upheaval and conflict that arises in the wake of government attempts to bring about social change through race-craft—politicians stoking racial grievances to earn more votes for themselves. It is a timely warning of the potential harm that could result from race-based electioneering, such as Kamala Harris’ plan to “plan to empower Black men as she tries to energize them to vote for her.” She has promised to give “forgivable business loans for Black entrepreneurs” of up to $1 million, and “to ensure that Black men have opportunities to participate as a national cannabis industry takes shape.”
Again state intervention proves to be more harm than good.
The ads are pretty funny, because they're basically attacking Trump for wanting more and better "black jobs" instead of just giving black people the tens of thousands of dollars that Kamala's pretending to offer.
reply
Yes, those anti-Trump ads are only good for their base. They are humorous for everybody else. What’s better cash in hand once, now or a long-term good paying job? The answer depends upon your time preference. Unfortunately, Kamala-people are high time preference types. There are an awful lot of them around and more coming every day.

It's also much better for them politically to maintain a perpetually impoverished and aggrieved voter base to make empty promises to.
reply
Yes, but the problem with that is that they become aware of the wall around the plantation. Lately, the aggrieved and impoverished have started noticing that they have been aggrieved and impoverished for the last 60 years have remained that way with nothing to show for it except impoverishment and being aggrieved. They are figuring out that they have been played by THEM, and they don’t like it one bit at all. Perhaps when they are offered freedom, this time, they won’t ask for a bowl of porrage .
reply
I agree. The impact of those promises seems to be getting as empty as the promises themselves.
reply
Yes, this wakes people up to the facts of life and reality. It is shocking but necessary.
