wow that's amazing, swimming is one of my favorite activities, but I can't even do a third of what you say. Seriously, how do they have that motivation and perseverance to do physical activities? I just procrastinate.
I unsuccessfully tried to find on Google which famous socker goalkeeper from the old days, when he was over 40 and still was a goalkeeper of the national team, just because he was still better than other young goalkeepers - and asked by journalist what is his secret, I remember he replied like this:
"Training is like a drug."
I can confirm, and I am older than he was then ;)

I'm 43. I started lifting when I was 38. I agree, once I started seeing the improvements, all I wanted to do is push further and further.
