Controversial issues in society are topics that have different arguments, this causes a division in society and generally, these are present throughout history. Some topics that generate controversy today are: Climate change: It affects people and human rights.
Arms trade: A lucrative business with political, industrial, strategic and socio-labor interests.
Immigration: A topic that can be discussed around its causes, the actions that should be taken and the measures that have been taken throughout history.
Emotional education: A topic that is being debated around how to implement it in schools, if teachers and families are prepared, and if it should be integrated into the school curriculum.
Ukraine war: It has revealed that the collective security frameworks to face the geostrategic confrontation are obsolete.
Inflation, food security and energy crisis: Issues that test individual and collective limits. Friend, what is your opinion on these issues and what would be the possible solution to the endless controversy? The dynamic will be to be able to debate each one of them and look for a possible solution.
How about communism? It is still very controversial, considering mass murders. Try reading “The Black Book of Communism” for an awakener. It is even underestimated.

the root of all evil
reply
@DarthCoin, I thought the root of communism was envy. That would make envy the root of all evil, not communism.
reply
Maybe that's how our friend sees it @ DarthCoin
reply
That's right, my friend, and I'm going to add it to the topics that I hope to discuss with all of you.
reply
I certainly know this and have experienced it firsthand.

I think we may have dodged the bullet, here, recently. However, all of Europe is surrendering to THEM, apparently, especially Great Britain and Ireland.
reply
I didn't really know that. I've always thought that communism or socialism didn't exist in Europe. I'm a Latino emigrant. I emigrated from my country, Venezuela, due to the great crisis it is going through and in which it remains immersed.
reply
Have you lived under communism or know someone who has, my friend @Rothbardian_fanatic
reply
I have never lived under it, but have known many people who have. I have visited communist and socialist places, though. They were not very good places. The only time I visited a communist place, I was carrying and using a rifle.
reply
wow, I mean, have you been in your country's army?
reply
Uh, that would be a yeah. But I never carried a rifle while I was in the military. I carried a toolkit. The rifle came at another time.

I could mention that these types of issues are not the concern of the majority, which is something quite complex. the majority, that is, the masses, we know that they live very trapped in their eternal circle ♾️ I am grateful for being part of this small but enormous community that is SN. where we can learn, expand our vision of the world, and mainly interact with other people 👥 who are on the same frequency as us.

It is true that many times these issues go unnoticed until they reach surprising figures or become news 🗞️.
