I’ve been closely following Waller of Satoshi payment data as one (of many) metrics that indicate Lightning adoption.
They are averaging 10k LN payments/day since August, but in the last few weeks that figure is much higher.
Looks like they did 256k LN payments in the last 20 days, for an average of almost 13k payments/day in that timeframe.
I’m not sure what the inflection point might have been for them, but it seems like a meaningful uptick lately. Any ideas?
I have personally seen a similar growth in my node's routing in those time frames without relevant changes in terms of node management. I guess... people are really using the LN more!

News like this makes me think that the lightning network will be the "the next big thing" coming the next bull market, same way blockchain was on the 2017/18 bull market.
