What are your thoughts on this?
Since I'm running my own node, I want to run my own mempool.
I like the idea of seeing spam on the blocks.
What do you think about it? Useless or useful?

Don’t trust, verify! Do it!
Andreas always said that the node software developers are always one of the legs of the stool.
Be the mempool you wish to see in the world

Don't save spam, bro, it's best to just throw it away.

I think its good. It means that you aren't depending on someone else's mempool and you can configure it how you like.

You like spam?
You mean you like the idea of not seeing spam?

I would like the idea of seeing which pool loves to mine spam

Ah, I see.
Is there overall stats on this? Do some pols disproportionately mine spam? (Over and above what's warranted given fees etc)

That's my understanding.
I want to see and confirm this now.
Ocean is one of the best pools out there, and since my node is already filtering spam, I want to see how "bad" most of the nodes are, and how "bad" they get blocked.
Most blocks I have observed have not even 1/3 of transactions in them. The rest is spam.
