I saw BTC hit $80k this morning and from the looks of everything the whole market surged this morning. Can someone fill in what I missed lol? I know the fundamentals have been good for BTC but I always thought of $80k being a huge mental hurdle so I am a little confused with the surge on a Sunday of all days!

More people were buying than were selling.
It's impossible to figure out what exactly causes things like that to happen, it's likely a whole bunch of little things.
