I mean, for hedg-y reasons I should, right? (90%+ of my net worth in BTC). Esp if the betting pool is that one-sided.

You should read this book before you do anything. Guaranteed success or @Undisciplined will give you double your money back!

There's some important fine print that accompanies the fine print, but you have to read the book to see what it is.
reply
Did @siggy47 draw up that finest of fine print for you?
reply
He's on vacation and this edition was a little rushed. I'll have to consult him later.
reply
I read the whole picture. I think I get it.

I am just trolling @Undisciplined and his fancy pants betting strategy instead of just wild ass guessing like the rest of us. So I created a book cover for him.

That's a good point.

Have you tried Predyx?
reply
No. Thanks. I didn't know this existed. A lot more going on here.

Introducing Predyx – the only real prediction market out there. We're precise to the last millisat (msat), ensuring smooth, reliable pricing without surprises.
Let’s be clear: just because it’s called a ‘prediction market’ doesn’t make it one. Other platforms? They’re running parimutuel betting systems – the same setup used for horse races. Here’s the catch: parimutuel betting means the payout is a moving target, constantly shifting based on opposite bets. So when they call it a ‘prediction market,’ that’s, well... a bit of a scam. It’s a betting pot, like what you’d find at a local sports bar, with payouts that change right until the end. Your payout is anyone’s guess, shifting with every opposite bet.
At Predyx, we’re committed to a market you can actually trust – because you deserve transparent, predictable pricing, not gambling with guesswork.

Interesting. Both sites have a bet on 100k by the end of year. And they are opposing each other right now. 55-45 45-55. I think at least.
reply
That is interesting.

I'm feeling a little bullish.

No one wants to bet against them--that’s the fundamental flaw with parimutuel betting systems. Unlike a true prediction market, where market forces shape fair odds, parimutuel setups just pool bets together, leaving you guessing on your final payout.
With parimutuel betting, the outcome is tied to who bets after you, not the actual probabilities or insights that make real prediction markets so powerful.

Is it a legitimate site?

I think so.

Absolutely the price action just today has been insane. 🚀

Totally!! I have an app on my phone called coingecko which is like a kind of "crypto portfolio" where I organize my assets efficiently and among other functions... and it sends me notifications of the Bitcoin price... and while I make my sales... I see that it goes up and up and up... 📈

Yeah. It's a weird feeling. I forgot what new uncharted water feels like.
