Twitter is such a horrible site to visit without an account, it just pops up and disrupts your reading, asking you to login.
Rather than logging in after they do that, I just edit the URL, replacing Twitter.com with Nitter.it
Problem solved.

There may be a plugin for your browser for automatic redirects to nitter.net

Another great thing that SN does is that it allows you to just browse the site without logging in.
Twitter is such a horrible site to visit without an account, it just pops up and disrupts your reading, asking you to login. Even if you login with email, it later asks you for your phone number. It feels so creepy.
Stacker News is a breath of fresh air in this centralized web.
