I plan on this being the little thread we can all comment on for the Tyson Paul fight. Personally I think Paul is dead. He might run around for a bit but Tyson only needs to touch him once and it’s over.

Yeah I am watching. I missed the last round of the women’s fight because stupid Netflix was buffering the whole round. Seems to be working ok again now but we will see what happens when the action starts.
Tyson looked good for 1 round and then he looked old, tired, flat footed and slow. Good on him to get to the end though.

Thanks man! I saw no one had posted one and figured others surely had to watch the fight! That might have been one of the best women’s boxing matches ever but boy did the Paul/Tyson one disappoint. Tyson is in killer shape but he seemed by the third round that he didn’t want to be there anymore which I get he’s 58 just wish I could have seen him live at his prime!

Watching NBA right now but I will turn on the fight at 8pm.
Paul has fought well against former MMA guys so I am not going to count him out but he has never faced anyone with the skill and power of Tyson.
Depends how Tyson looks at 58. I bet on Tyson but I think if it goes long Paul might win.
Sadly we have to suffer through a couple of other fights before we get to the good one

This fight is crazy. So intense!
Netflix presentation has been pretty terrible, stream quality has been really poor.
Felt like amateur hour with open mics and unnecessarily long shots of Serrano's cut. Was nice to see Rosie Perez though. Loved her in White Men Can't Jump. The ring interviewer was pretty belligerent.
Ariel Helwani has had an interesting reporting career to say the least… UFC banned him at one point and he and Dana White hate each other

The best part of the fight was Tori Kelly singing the National Anthem. She absolutely killed it. I never heard of her before. I thought Tyson would win. But it was clear that Paul could have unleashed on him and chose not to out of respect. The stream could have been better; some blur from slow feed on occasion. Pretty entertaining nonetheless.
Tori Kelly was great. She is the voice of Meena the elephant in the animated movies Sing and Sing 2.
I also thought Jake held back because he didn't want to hurt / drop Mike. To be fair, being able to step in the ring, throw punches, and take punches at the age of 58 is already a feat. The fight was not as exciting nor entertaining as I thought it would be, but I applaud Mike for trying and I'm also glad Jake held back. I would hate to see Mike get hurt or knocked out.
Congrats to both of them for a big payday. And too bad for me for losing money, haha.

The 2 fights before Tyson weren't half bad but this whole production was amateur hour. Netflix buffering like downloading porn on dial up, Evander couldn't hear, Jerry's dead mic, awful announcers, Mike's gas tank, and they had how many years to get this right? At least Drake lost like $400k...
It was a good, respectful fight overall and I appreciated the sportsmanship. The world isn't perfect.
God that fight was so weak. For those of us in the States, it was like eating a steak at Golden Corral.
