Ranga Dias is no longer employed by the University of Rochester, months after a university probe found he engaged in research misconduct
Finally, this took too long. Good riddance.
Unfortunately, the article didn't really explain the details of his misconduct other than "misrepresentation."
Also interesting that he didn't have tenure. Wonder how hard it would have been to fire him if he did.

Let me find later today some articles that describe his misconduct. I think i posted about him here on SN a while ago. Basically claimed with manipulated data to have achieved room temperature superconductivity. Several retracted paper, refused to share details so people could reproduce his experiments, etc.
