Anyone else tuning in?

I've got Celtics/Cavs on.

Just got home. This game isn’t as close as I hoped. I figured the Cavs would lose tonight. They are due for a loss and Boston wants to prove a point at home but was hoping for a good game.

reply

17/25 from 3? Oh my.

reply

It's been pretty ridiculous.

The Nets need to pick it up, or else Siggy's toast.

reply

Nice run by the Cavs. Let's see if they can keep it close.

reply

Very impressive. The Celtics need Horford back in there.

reply

I wonder if @mega_dreamer can get us some Emirates Cup outcomes to predict.

reply

Here you go :) More Emirates Cup Markets coming next week.

Fantastic! Thank you.

What might have even more interest than nightly games are outcomes for the whole tournament: i.e. who will be the champ and who will win MVP. Those probably need to wait on your next update, though.

That would be fun.

reply

Wow, I did not expect the Cavs to claw their way back into this game. What a 3rd quarter. Watching the final minute now, but looks like it will be hard for the Cavs to get a win out of this. Let's see.

I wish the refs would let them play a bit. Some of these recent fouls are lame.

@gnilma @Undisciplined

You guys going to watch Thunder vs Spurs?

reply

I'm watching Mavs vs Pels. Brought my laptop, tethering from my phone, and streaming in my minivan haha

reply

Nice set up. I used to watch Blue Jays games from the parking lot of my son's Taekwondo class.

reply

I’m not sure. The kid should be asleep soon and then I’ll see how the games are going.

reply

Siggy is still alive.

reply

Just got home. Looks like the Lakers got a pretty solid start.

I'm surprised OKC are behind the Spur by double digits. And Wemby isn't even playing.

reply

Oh wow, the Spurs, without their top 3 scorers, just beat OKC. This group just got interesting. Assuming Lakers will beat the Jazz tonight, Lakers remain the only undefeated team in this group.

reply

I was trying to tell @grayruby that the Lakers were in really good position to potentially sweep their group and have an easy playoff road.

reply

Yes. I miscalculated how good OKC would be without a C. Not very.

reply

Someone came to mind as a trade target. They should get Time Lord from Portland. He's a great rim protector and lob threat. That would be a great big rotation and excellent injury insurance.

reply

My Mavs pick looking pretty good so far.

reply

You steered us well

reply

Still another half to play. Hopefully Mavs step on the gas and don't make it close. I don't want to go through again what I went through with the Knicks Nets game...

reply

Pretty much destroyed the Pels. Won by 41.

reply

Does that mean we get bonus points?

reply

Sure, here's 15 bonus points

Not yet. With the kiddos visiting my parents. Have to pick my wife up from work in a bit.

Will definitely watch the second half.

reply

@siggy47, it looks like Charlotte is imploding right at the end of a very close game. You might squeak this one out.

reply

Shocking result

I just found out Inside the NBA is moving to ESPN/ABC next season. I'm glad they figured out the legal/contract stuff and the show is staying.

Yeah, it's good news, but I can't help be concerned that ESPN will screw it up.

reply

I heard they are keeping the same crew and same production team in Atlanta. ESPN just airing it. Should be less room for ESPN to screw it up with that setup.

reply

I just turned the game on. Cavs not behind by a lot. Hard to say who will win at this point.

I have to drive kids to art class in an hour, so probably will miss most of the games. Will tune back in when I get back from kids' art class.

reply

They weathered a hot start from the Celtics.

reply

Cavs streak may end here.

reply

Boston's lighting up the Cavs.

reply

Looks like the win streak might really end tonight.

reply

Let’s go Mavs!
