I failed one of them hilariously and for the other one, there is no grade yet. But I have mixed feelings about that one.
That's so impressive to someone like me with no coding education or experience. You're able to create an incredible bot out of nothing but some lines of code. Meanwhile, you're failing some exams that are probably asking you to memorize dry and irrelevant information. This is why I plan to home school my kids, and teach them to teach themselves :)

Well, one could argue I am just more interested in programming and have already programmed some bots before + years of other software experience in jobs. So I'd say coming up with code for such a bot is just a lot of previous grind to accumulate experience. Writing the bot is not hard then.
For university courses, it just really depends on your discipline and how much you are interested in the topic.
I am interested in the topics of these courses (it security related) but they are pretty demanding. Lots of details.
So not sure if I agree with this in my particular courses:
Meanwhile, you're failing some exams that are probably asking you to memorize dry and irrelevant information.
There are however definitely courses or whole degrees out there were this applies!

Sending your kids to school and teaching them to teach themselves is not exclusive.
I think you shouldn't underestimate how much you can learn at university. And a formal degree in a school is mandatory to get access to university (?).
There are problems with formal education, yes. But don't underestimate the benefits. Also, don't overestimate your competence in teaching kids. It can be really frustrating. I am speaking out of experience, haha

I'm glad it's working out for you. Good luck! :)
I am personally very disillusioned with academia and Fiat science. I just want my kids to enjoy their education. I don't want them to face the misery that I did

I don't know your experience so I just hope everything will work out for you, too, however you decide :)

My experience was mostly being told to memorize random facts that I never used and don't remember now. Teachers would physically and mentally torment us and our peers (mostly boys) for being "troublesome in class". Horrific experience for years tbh

Where are you from, if I may ask?

I agree with this take! Everyone will have a different style of learning.
