Satoshi is prophet
Not sure if it's on purpose, but the lnurlp URLs seem to have CORS restrictions atm. Unable to make a request from localhost
Need to fix! Thanks for reminding me
🤔not sure how I got all my stuff done before 5pm…something feels off
funny how it cuts when they are waiting for the transaction to confirm
https://nitter.net/BitcoinMagazine/status/1577000896172433408#m
How many LN transaction you did in your life?
Do you know how LN works?
Do you know what is the minimum time for a LN tx to settle?
Do you know how much time the request travels around the world between nodes?
Did you ever run a LN node and manage its liquidity and make it faster?
When you will be able to answer these questions (without lying), maybe I will consider you a bitcoiner here. Otherwise you are just a shitcoiner bitching against Bitcoin and LN.
@bitcoingraffitti just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm trying to recreate the dark mode bug in Chrome.
I think I know what's causing the issue (OS setting accidentally taking precedence) but won't be able to confirm until tomorrow.
What is the default sorting of SN when I first load the site or click on the SN logo on top left? It doesn’t seem to be any of the top sorting or recent.
We call it 'hot'. It's like top with a time decay.
Making some progress in my little cabin project 😉 Yesterday I framed the first wall and cut most of the two by fours needed for the second wall. The plan for today is to frame at least 2 walls 😃

Progress every day, awesome!
Some people have so much space to work with, damn!
How long have you been working on it?
For about a month. Laying the foundation took me about three weeks 😅
Sats are the new Likes.
Sats are the standard.
Making some progress on the Midjourney Lightning Discord bot inspired by the DALLE Lightning telegram bot now that I have no exams left
How'd you do on the exams?
I failed one of them hilariously and for the other one, there is no grade yet. But I have mixed feelings about that one.
That's so impressive to someone like me with no coding education or experience. You're able to create an incredible bot out of nothing but some lines of code. Meanwhile, you're failing some exams that are probably asking you to memorize dry and irrelevant information. This is why I plan to home school my kids, and teach them to teach themselves :)
Well, one could argue I am just more interested in programming and have already programmed some bots before + years of other software experience in jobs. So I'd say coming up with code for such a bot is just a lot of previous grind to accumulate experience. Writing the bot is not hard then.
For university courses, it just really depends on your discipline and how much you are interested in the topic.
I am interested in the topics of these courses (it security related) but they are pretty demanding. Lots of details.
So not sure if I agree with this in my particular courses:
There are however definitely courses or whole degrees out there were this applies!
Sending your kids to school and teaching them to teach themselves is not exclusive.
I think you shouldn't underestimate how much you can learn at university. And a formal degree in a school is mandatory to get access to university (?).
There are problems with formal education, yes. But don't underestimate the benefits.
Also, don't overestimate your competence in teaching kids. It can be really frustrating.
I am speaking out of experience, haha
I agree with this take! Everyone will have a different style of learning.
I'm glad it's working out for you. Good luck! :)
I am personally very disillusioned with academia and Fiat science. I just want my kids to enjoy their education. I don't want them to face the misery that I did
I don't know your experience so I just hope everything will work out for you, too, however you decide :)
My experience was mostly being told to memorize random facts that I never used and don't remember now. Teachers would physically and mentally torment us and our peers (mostly boys) for being "troublesome in class". Horrific experience for years tbh
