"How did life come about?"

For many scientists, the primordial soup theory in which chemical processes from the ocean mixed with gases from the atmosphere and energy from lightning may be the best theory to explain how life arose on Earth. But it is not universally accepted nor is it the only one. In fact, there is no agreement about life or where it began.
