Honestly watching MSNBC's meltdown after this announcement was wild and the meltdown wasn't for her being bad at her job they were melting down because she is so good at it. The people on the show were lambasting her because she was so good and so effective at her previous job as the AG of Flordia. At one point one of the pannelst made the comment that they should have just kept Gaetz because he wouldn't be effective like she would be and I died laughing at all of this!

I think picking Gaetz was mainly Trump trolling Democrats. By picking Gaetz, then getting Bondi, he kind of gets a win-win. Trolling done, good AG in.
I think it may have been a favor to Gaetz. It gave Gaetz the opportunity to resign and avoid having his ethics report published. Even if he didn't violate any laws, a scandalous ethics report could ruin his political future.
Where I come from you don't do public favors for people accused of such things.
I wouldn't put it past trump to do favors for political allies, even unsavory ones like Gaetz

Have you seen their ratings. Tanking. Yet they keep doubling and tripling down. I guess NBCUniversal doesn't really care about that area of the business or they would be doing something to fix it.
