the bailouts, debt, terrible economic policies, so on, is undermining the dollar more than anything else. its killing itself it seems. and dragging alot of people down with it tbh. most people arent even aware of how their lives are being destroyed! and when they start feeling it, they will be too desperate to do anything constructive about it i think. but lets see

Absolutely spot on and if you add the seizing of Russian and Afghan reserves, the continual draining of the petroleum reserves, looming debt spiral etc People really have no idea of what’s coming down the pipe and for their sake, I hope they wake up soon

I missed this article when it was first published. Really fantastic take on the petrodollar, but also a great analysis of the CFA and what went on in Guinea. I subscribed to your newsletter and I'm looking forward to reading it regularly.

Thank you for the feedback and for subscribing. CFA system is probably the worst form of monetary repression today, but it’s really a pale reflection of the USD which has the entire world under its thumb.

I just finished reading Alex Gladstein's Check Your Financial Privilege. The section discussing the US dollar and Hudson's Super Imperialism theory was a real eye opener for me

You can say that again. It’s an eye opener to the crazy world we live in under the fallacy of “democracy” with the money printer being utilised as a tool of oppression.
