The blue chakra, also known as Vishuddha, throat chakra, Kanth Padma, and Shodash Dala, is the fifth chakra out of the seven primary chakras which align with the spinal cord, according to Tantrism.

The throat chakra is responsible for communication, creativity, and self-expression. The word “Vishuddha” means “especially pure.”
