Right. I am not sure your age, but older games. When I was younger, diablo and starcraft came out. So that shows how old I am. Everything the same or older is now considered vintage, right?
I also play DUSK sometimes which is a bit like a modern version of Quake that still feels like Quake. Does that sound interesting?

Mhh, good question. I would consider vintage any games that came out and peaked before I was born.

Oh man, the amount of fun I had playing starcraft with appletalk. It allowed you to play on one disk, and two computers. So much world building and strategy.

Oh, I remember these times :)
That was also possible with AoE2 I believe.

And nanosaur. Do you remember that dinosaur game?

There was also a race game on the old iMacs with the old 9.2 Mac OSes. Those machines were heavily used in graphics houses for making catalogs, magazines and such.

I think a lot of those games would be on 3.5 floppies. I have only one machine active that will take floppies, now-a-days. I have several in boxes that take them.
