People on the losing side have been saying this since Kennedy, that I know of! It was really bad for Regan and Clinton times, too. I don’t think this will ever change, but most of it is talk. The rest may have some very good reasons to actually move.

My coworker was telling me that countries in the EU are accepting immigration based on politics. I thought that was hilarious. Why would you move out of your own country knowing the president will change in 4 years?

I feel like we get this nearly every cycle one way or another. Here's the 2012 edition where Republicans were supposedly leaving the country. As threats go, it's up there with Texas/California talks about seccession.
