I always figured that slicing to a single imaginary point below the onion was correct, but if I understand the paper, the point that you are slicing towards should move as you slice.

Neverming, I didn't notice they had an illustration at the end.
Turns out my first approach was more or less right....but I think the imaginary point to aim for was different than I imagined.
